Integrated or oppressive care?
The idea could have a powerful positive impact, however, what would the downsides be to integrated care? And, could they be a tool for control? dominance and oppressive behaviors?
When we talk about integration, does that mean the board members are integrated into other business boards? What does integrated health care system actually mean?
Are we asking the questions? like who's idea it is? And, what is their track record and motivation? They are difficult questions. However, the wrong people could cause so much more unnecessary chaos and suffering. Could it be possible, that When the costs are weighted up, it may not be as cost effective?
Will we ever get to be a point, where money does not control the overall wrong decision. Which affects the overall usability and outcome for the user of the service? Not Forgetting about the aftermath. Furthermore, the repercussions in human behavior these decisions cause.
Case study
It has been reported that north Manchester General Hospital are seeking 105 million to re-devep their mental health service. This will be done by rebuilding a 150 bed state of the art space.
The space will be everything that a mental health patient will ever need for their recovery. It all sound great, sounds like they have and are ticking all the boxes on paper. However, has anybody asked, what the problems are and what strategy they have in place to limit damages to the problems?
How will you manage the financials if those beds are not filled? What strategy will be adopted?
Will the staff providing care have all the relevent training and mental health support?
It is not okay saying, they are agency and passing the responsibility off. However, you as the care giver have the responsibility to check. And, that buck you can not pass on.
Is it time for organisations to start owning their failures and start having to meet all their statutory obligations before they get the money?

Could it be argued, they have already started? so now is it time to get it right and perfect?
Moreover, are We in need of Economists that are better informed on the repercussions that the trickle down effect has on human behavior? And, as a result, the cost to the UK Economy?
Everyone deserves to be happy. As happiness is a,"Human right". If everyone has the right to be happy? And, happiness is a human right. Does that mean the people in care deserve the, "Right" type of care?
